The Carasta Three-Strike Approach:

•  First Listing: Set your reserve freely. No restrictions.

•  Second Listing: Receive optional, market-based guidance from the Carasta team. You choose whether to adjust.

•  Third Listing: Discuss current market conditions with the Carasta team to align on a fair reserve — with final control always remaining with you.

Unlike platforms with rigid reserve rules, Carasta is built to give sellers transparency, insight, and control throughout the auction process.

The Reserve Meter provides an estimated indication of how close the current bidding is to meeting the seller’s reserve price.

The meter is directional only and is designed to give bidders helpful context without revealing the actual reserve amount.

Sellers may choose to offer a Buy Now option at a preset price, allowing buyers to complete a purchase immediately during the first 24 hours of an auction. The Buy Now price is separate from the seller’s reserve and does not affect reserve pricing.

This optional feature provides added flexibility for sellers and convenience for buyers, while preserving the auction format once the Buy Now window has ended.

Carasta’s Auto Bid feature allows buyers to set a maximum bid amount, with bids placed automatically in minimum $250 increments on their behalf.

Buyers can participate without continuously monitoring the auction and will be notified if their maximum bid is reached, giving them the opportunity to reassess or place additional bids.
