Getting started is simple. Set up a free profile and start selling, bidding or building your profile within the Carmunity.

Listing Fee of $99, this will include the listing of the vehicle on Carasta®.
Upon approval, payment processing is transacted through Stripe.
Complimentary inclusion for every transaction of the funds initiated from the buyer to the seller through Caramel (Digital Title Transfer, DMV authentication and progress of the documents and funds available virtually).
Buyer & Seller fees (via Caramel) are covered by Carasta® for this secure & verified transaction process.

Standard auction length will be 7 (seven) days (168-hours) from approved listing start date to closing date. Countdown integration on the listing will be in live-time.
*Premium Auctions may be selected upon Admin approval, in which will be a 10-day Auction timeline.
Upon the close of the auction, there is a 60-second population period to ensure the last and final bidder and/or highest bidding price is granted to the auction winner.
If a bid is placed in the last 120 seconds (2-minutes) of an auction, an additional 120 seconds (2-minutes) will be added to the countdown auction end clock.
Auction will close, once there has been 120-seconds (2-minutes) of no additional bids that have been submitted.

Yes.
You have the option to set a reserve price on your vehicle, this must be a competitive pricing with the market and will be verified by Carasta®.
We ensure the quality and efficiency of selling your vehicle within a timely period, with that the pricing may be comparable to market evaluations of the car details.

Reserve price is an optional feature when a seller is listing, and will be identified as the meter gauge progresses upon bids being entered. The amount will not be disclosed, rather there is a red to green gauge meter to determine the best estimate of meeting the reserve minimum.
In the case the reserve is not met, sellers can have an option to relist their vehicle within 24 hours (with no listing fee) with the exception of a lower reserve requirement from the previous listing.

The ‘Buy Now’ feature is optional depending on the seller's choice.
If selected, the ‘Buy Now’ option is available for the initial 24-hours of the listing for an exclusive price. Bidding will still be applicable within this 24-hour period, but may be overruled by a Buy Now Purchase.
If the “Buy Now’ was not fulfilled after 24-hours the auction will transition into an additional 6-day (9-day for premium) bidding feature.

Yes.
Within the bidding process, a minimum of $250 (two-hundred and fifty dollar) increments from the lowest/current bid if required.

Buyers will pay 5% (up to $7,500) above the ending auction price to Carasta®.
Buyers fee due to Carasta®, will be processed automatically to the payment method on file (via Stripe) after the auction has ended.
First, 5% (up to $7,500) will be due to Carasta®, through Stripe payment processor.
ACH or Debit Card: no fee
Credit Card: 2.9%
Second, the ending bid price of the vehicle will be prompted via email, to Caramel, for processing to complete vehicle price.
Caramel transaction service fee is courtesy of Carasta® auction purchases. Transactional fees associated from Caramel are paid by Carasta.
Caramel will hold funds in escrow until processing of both parties has been completed and verified.

Automatically set up bidding increments for a particular auction.
Max-Bid will ensure you are the winning bid up until that price point. Must fill in the bid increment levels. Auto-Bid feature on, will ensure you ahead on the bidding clock if/until the max bid is reached of the auction ends.
Bids are non-cancellable upon submission.

No. Bids are non-cancellable, Bidding is serious as agreed upon in the Terms & Conditions. Buyers will be held responsible for the commitment and bid they make.

FAQ- Procedures

Buyers fee will be automatically transferred to Carasta®, through Stripe (Buyer fee is 5% or up to $7,500 of the final auction bid price).
Upon completion of the auction, the vehicle information will be integrated automatically into Caramel to initiate the transaction processing.
Buy & Sellers will each receive an email and will be prompted over to the Caramel platform to verify identity, input financial transaction, and documentation.

Every transaction is securely processed through a third party partnership, ensuring funds for both buyers and sellers are validated and exchanged in sync with the transaction process.
Documentation processing will be easy and worry-free, guidance will be provided from financing and fund transfer to temporary and permanent DMV registration.
Fund Schedule: 50% of the final auction price will be released to the seller after both parties have signed off on proper paperwork. Once the vehicle has been shipped, the remainder 50% will be released from escrow to the Seller.
An email will be prompted to both buyer and seller per transaction, with 7 easy steps to verify processing.

During the checkout process for buyers, their terms of payment will be processed through a secured third party processor. These funds will be held in escrow until the proper documentation of both parties and documents have been processed. This process can take (24-hours up to 5-business days; this will depend on loan payoffs, liens, carfax reporting, dmv and identity verification), the process can be tracked in live time.
Notifications for both buyer and seller will be notified via communication preference of each staged process.
Fund Schedule: 50% of the final price will be released to the seller after both parties have signed off on proper paperwork. Once the vehicle has been initiated transport, the remainder 50% will be released from escrow to the Seller.

Shipping costs are additional to the cost of the vehicle, and is the responsibility of the buyer.
There are preferred vendors for vehicle transportation available upon checkout, through transaction processing.
(Transportation tracking is an option for various vendors, these details can be further identified at check out.)
Buyers are welcome to set up their own transportation, and opt out of the guided transport service. Carasta customer service can be of assistance if this is a preferred method.

No. Unfortunately, there are no returns between sales or purchases made by either party. All sales are final, you are welcome to re-list the item on the site under the same rules and regulations of a standard seller listing.

Reporting or Flagging comments will be promptly removed with the understanding of an inappropriate comment made on the listing, these will be sent to the Carasta corporate team for further review of this validation.
Penalties or probation periods on the app may apply, pending the violation.

Yes, Dealerships are granted access to list a vehicle.
Please reach out to our Carasta® Sales Team to learn about exclusive offers for dealership perks.
Within the account sign up section, you will select the Dealer option, and provide your Dealership number for verification.

Carasta® reserves the rights to add, subtract or edit photos, videos, vehicle descriptions. Along with Carasta® reserved rights to remove any content, photos, videos or users that are deemed inappropriate for the platform and users. Users under 18 years old may be on the platform, and any negative or damaging content or images may result in your account being deleted. Review the PP & T/C for more information.
